We developed three modules; click on the links below for more information and to request materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/dataclubs\/modules\/teens-and-time\/\">Teens and Time<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/dataclubs\/modules\/ticks-and-lyme-disease\/\">Ticks and Lyme Disease<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terc.edu\/dataclubs\/modules\/injuries-on-and-off-the-field\/\">Injuries On and Off the Field<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each module includes approximately 10 hours of activities, PDFs of printable content, and a list of materials needed. There are also links to several curated datasets in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/codap.concord.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">CODAP<\/a>, the free, web-based data analysis tool designed for \u201cdata scientists\u201d in grades 6 through 14\u2014no special information is necessary to access and use it. The modules may be used in an in-school setting, but because they were designed and tested for out-of-school settings, such as afterschool programs or summer camps, the modules\u2019 statistical content is determined by the data themselves, and student interest, rather than on meeting curriculum benchmarks..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The modules will be most effectively delivered by teachers or facilitators who are already familiar with some data science concepts.
