Description: What becomes possible when we teach mathematics with belonging at the center? This talk invites educators to explore how classrooms can become connected communities where every child feels valued and capable. Drawing from Indigenous perspectives and long standing teaching and learning practices, we can reimagine mathematics as a deeply human experience, one where all students are supported in seeing themselves as capable and confident mathematicians.

He is a nationally recognized educator and consultant, who has spent 13 years helping teachers across the country make sense of their roles in the age of Common Core standards and making schools more constructive places for Native children.
