We will investigate how this tool empowers students to take an active role in their own mathematical learning, nurturing their identities and offering opportunities to co-create their classroom environments. Do we privilege students who express their ideas in ways that are closest to what we recognize as correct or whose fluency of speech is more comfortable for us? Or do we welcome questioning and revision, even if we think the &#8220;right&#8221; answer has already been expressed?
