Author's NoteHere is the fire [that] I am talking about in mid-winter.ÌýI think on this day I needed some healing; so, I lit a fire after dark in the woods by myself.ÌýI grew up around fire.ÌýMy first memories in [town] are the cold, the crunching of snow, the fires on my dad’s property out in the country, and the blood from cut deer/moose/elk meat.ÌýI find this connection to who I am to give me power when I struggle in STEM.
